360 Total Security Review

By Buzzranks

Qihoo 360 Total Security (360安全卫士) commands a massive market share in China. It is famous for bringing free antivirus to the masses but is often criticized for its aggressive marketing tactics.

Key Findings

  • Comprehensive Features: It literally does everything—from patching Windows vulnerabilities to updating drivers and cleaning the registry.
  • Resource Heavy: The massive feature set means it can significantly slow down older PCs.
  • Bloatware Concerns: Users must be careful during installation and daily use, as it frequently prompts the installation of affiliated products like the 360 Browser.
